Nicky Black

Nicky graduated in 1994 with a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing from Otago Polytechnic and has been in the industry ever since. Nicky is based in our Richmond clinic in a surgical, hospital and consult nurse role and is also our Richmond clinic nurse team leader.  Nicky brings many years of experience and skills to the team; she is passionate about emergency medicine and intensive patient care. Nicky lives in Wakefield with her husband Greg, they have three children and the exciting news of a grandchild on the way. Nicky has a beautiful and quirky collection of (mostly rescued) pets which include their dogs Rosie, Tip, Nessie and Cinnamon, their cats Bella, Louie and Rosie and their horses Tarquin and Banjo. Outside of work Nicky enjoys spending time with family, tramping adventures, traveling, biking and dog walking with friends.
