Kate Gardiner

Kate graduated with her National Certificate in Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing from Otago Polytechnic in 2012. Kate began working in the Veterinary industry in 2014 in the Nelson region, she then moved further south for several years to continue her career in Geraldine. Having had experience in most roles within a vet clinic Kate really enjoys the customer experience and administration, as well as getting to know all our patients’ personalities. Kate is passionate about helping clients find the best answers to their questions, hoping this will provide an individual experience and ultimately play a small part in their pets’ living the best life they can. Kate is our Inventory manager and customer service team lead for the Richmond clinic. Kate was born and grew up in Nelson before moving to Geraldine in 2016. She then returned to Nelson with her two adorable rescue dogs Plank & Rua in 2021. Outside of work Kate enjoys yoga, dog walking adventures and spending time with her partner Nick, her friends and family.
