Dr Alex Warner B.V.Sc

Alex graduated with a commendation from Glasgow vet school in 2010. She worked for several years as a mixed practice vet in her home county of Lancashire before spending 2 years in dairy practice in the Timaru district of South Canterbury. Since then, she has worked in various clinics throughout Australia and the UK, and served in volunteer roles in Fiji and Greece. She sees all species and has an interest in endocrine and gastro cases as well as dairy cow medicine and surgery. She is also our resident acupuncture therapist and our vet in charge of pet export to Australia. Alex has been in Nelson since 2017 and has made Nelson her permanent home. She lives locally with her husband Hamish and their Heading dog, Juno. She enjoys tramping, mountain biking and skiing and spends much of her free time exploring the great New Zealand backcountry.
